Where It Began
The name
A. Roese carries meaning far beyond what appears at first glance.
The
“A” stands for Amanda, the beginning of a vision rooted in care, purpose, and service.
“Roese”
(pronounced Rose) is a family name, but also a symbol.
My grandfather had a tradition of bringing my grandmother
one red rose every day. It was never grand or elaborate, but it was constant. A simple, steady expression of love and devotion.
That gesture became something much greater than a habit, it became a reflection of how love shows up in the world: quietly, consistently, and with intention.
Years later, when I met my husband and became part of the Roese family, I realized that the name I would carry forward already held that same meaning.
A rose.
A symbol of remembrance.
Of love that endures.
Of honoring what matters most.
A Life Shaped by Service
Funeral service has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. With more than
62 years of experience in my family, I grew up witnessing the depth of this work. Not from a distance, but firsthand. I saw the long hours, the quiet strength, and the compassion required to serve families during their most difficult moments.
My father has dedicated his life to this profession.
Through him, I learned that funeral service is not simply about arrangements, it is about presence. It is about showing up for people with dignity, patience, and care when they need it most.
His example shaped not only my path, but my purpose.
