Gentle Guide Through Grief

Our Gentle Guide Through Grief was created to offer comfort, support and a gentle encouragement through the journey of loss.  We hope these pages bring peace, reassurance and a reminder that you are not alone.

What's Your Grief

What's your grief is an online community and resource platform created by two mental health professionals. They describe their mission as "grief support for the rest of us," aiming to provide practical, realistic, and creative grief education without clichés or "pastel colors and tilted heads".

Grief Share

Grief Share is a video-based support group and recovery program designed to help individuals navigating the death of a loved one. Operating globally, the program offers a safe, welcoming environment where participants connect with others who are experiencing similar grief journeys.

Children & Grief


When a loved one dies, it can be difficult to know how to help kids cope with the loss, particularly as you work through your own grief. By being open and honest, encouraging communication, and sharing your own feelings, you and your children can cope with painful times and begin your healing journey together.

Valerie's House

Valerie's House is a unique non-profit organization dedicated to helping grieving children and their families heal after the loss of a loved one. With locations across Southwest Florida it provides a warm, supportive community where youths learn that loss does not have to limit their dreams.
